The brief
The problem
The Council's AGM, with about 150 voters from member clans, ran past four hours, from nominations to manual one-by-one voting. It needed to be faster without losing transparency.
What we did
- Ran consultation meetings to shape the requirements
- Built secure mobile voting by QR scan
- Added a live tracker of votes cast and pending
- Built an auditable backend for scrutineers
- Set up, rehearsed and supported the meeting on site in Penang
- Designed reports for result announcements and the press
